On Monday 9 June 2025, the Clive Barnes Foundation will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the Clive Barnes Awards at the National Arts Club in New York City, recognising six exceptional young performers in theatre and dance. This year’s Honoured Artists include Tom Francis, Ava Lalezarzadeh and Helen J Shen (Theatre), as well as David Gabriel, Isaiah K. Harvey and Kanon Sugino (Dance). The evening will also feature appearances by Tiler Peck and Victor Abreu of New York City Ballet.
For the first time, the Foundation will present the Journalism & Media Achievement Award, honouring Conversations On Dance podcast hosts Rebecca King Ferraro and Michael Sean Breeden for their outstanding contribution to arts journalism.
Hosted by Budd Mishkin, the ceremony continues the Foundation’s mission to celebrate and support emerging artists, carrying forward the legacy of the late Clive Barnes—renowned critic and lifelong advocate for the performing arts.

Erstmals vergibt die Stiftung zudem den Journalism & Media Achievement Award an die Hosts des Podcasts Conversations On Dance, Rebecca King Ferraro und Michael Sean Breeden, für ihre herausragenden Beiträge zur Tanzberichterstattung.
Moderiert wird die Preisverleihung von Budd Mishkin. Die Clive Barnes Awards würdigen außergewöhnliche junge Künstlerinnen und Künstler – ganz im Sinne von Clive Barnes, dem einflussreichen Kritiker und leidenschaftlichen Förderer der darstellenden Künste.
