Mit der Berufung von Michaela Bosshard zur Geschäftsführerin der Ballett-Akademie der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München stellt sich die traditionsreiche Ausbildungsstätte neu auf. Ab dem 1. Juli 2025 wird sie gemeinsam mit dem Künstlerischen Leiter Prof. Jan Broeckx die Geschicke der Akademie lenken. Sie ist auch ein Ausdruck eines kulturellen Wandels, der die Tanzausbildung nachhaltiger, transparenter und menschlicher machen will. Der Anspruch, junge Tänzer*innen nicht nur technisch, sondern auch persönlich zu stärken, steht dabei im Zentrum.

With the appointment of Michaela Bosshard as Managing Director of the Ballet Academy at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich (HMTM), the renowned institution is embarking on a new chapter. From 1 July 2025, she will lead the Academy alongside Artistic Director Prof. Jan Broeckx. Originally founded to prepare young talents for major stages, the Ballet Academy of HMTM must now also prove itself as a place of reflection and responsibility. The new leadership team has the opportunity not merely to assume this responsibility, but to shape it actively.
