Online dance classes

Over the coming weeks, RAD will be adding online dance classes for all ages and abilities as well as fun and useful features such as exclusive Dance Gazette articles, interviews and more. The series starts on Wednesday 1 April at 1pm BST with online ‘Silver Swans’ ballet exercise classes, designed to get the older generation moving to the music at home. From experienced dancers to those that don’t know their plié from their pointe, older learners of any ability are invited to try out free Silver Swans classes. Shared in manageable bitesize videos, viewers can work on these during the week before moving onto the next exercise.
The classes can also be viewed on our YouTube channel, Facebook page and IGTV.

Staatsballett Berlin

Insgesamt nahmen dies knapp 70 Tänzer*innen in Anspruch. Zuschauer*innen können ein Profitraining hier nachverfolgen.

Online Ballet Barre 3 with Dutch National Ballet

In this intense and difficult times it’s important stay safe, but also to stay in shape! Therefore we’ve developed a few ‘ballet classes’ for our dancers, but you can join from your living room as well. Ernst Meisner, artistic coordinator of the Junior Company, teaches this barre and pianist Rex Lobo accompanies him on the piano. We will stream a ballet barre on YouTube every Monday and Friday and will go live during a class with dancers (via ZOOM) on our Facebookpage Het Nationale Ballet. All classes start at 11am (CET). Keep on dancing and let’s start!
