Teatro alla Scala announce the appointment of Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Olivieri as the new Director of its Ballet Company. Starting March 1, 2025, Mr. Olivieri will assume his role for a term of two seasons, succeeding Manuel Legris, who has held the position since 2020.<\/p>\n
Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Olivieri, a distinguished figure in the world of ballet, brings a wealth of experience and a history of excellence to Teatro alla Scala. Having previously served as the Ballet Director of Teatro alla Scala from 2002 to 2007 and again from 2017 to 2020, his return marks a new chapter for the company. He will continue to serve as the Director of the Dance Department at Accademia Teatro alla Scala, a position he has held since 2006.<\/p>\n
