Held at the Beaulieu Theatre in Lausanne, the competition saw 85 candidates from around the world, with 20 reaching the Finals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Jury, chaired by Laurent Hilaire, Director of the Bayerisches Staatsballett and \u00c9toile of the Paris Opera Ballet, selected nine exceptional dancers to receive scholarships, allowing them to join prestigious partner schools or companies.<\/p>\n<h5>The 2025 Prize Winners are:<\/h5>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li><strong>1st Scholarship \u2013 Fondation Caris<\/strong>: PARK YounJae (South Korea)<\/li>\n<li><strong>2nd Scholarship \u2013 Bourse Jeune Espoir<\/strong>: POOR Eric (United States)<\/li>\n<li><strong>3rd Scholarship \u2013 Oak Foundation<\/strong>: YASUUMI Shinnosuke (Japan)<\/li>\n<li><strong>4th Scholarship \u2013 Fondation Maurice B\u00e9jart<\/strong>: WANG Hanxi (P.R. China)<\/li>\n<li><strong>5th Scholarship \u2013 Bourse Jeune \u00c9toile<\/strong>: JAIN Hector (United States)<\/li>\n<li><strong>6th Scholarship \u2013 Fondation Coromandel<\/strong>: HANDA Ryan (United States)<\/li>\n<li><strong>7th Scholarship \u2013 Bourse Astarte<\/strong>: HAMASAKI Hono (Japan)<\/li>\n<li><strong>8th Scholarship \u2013 Fondation Anita et Werner Damm-Etienne<\/strong>: KIM Bogyeong (South Korea)<\/li>\n<li><strong>9th Scholarship \u2013 Aud Jebsen Scholarship<\/strong>: WHEWAY HUGHES Jakob (United Kingdom)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Additionally, several special awards were presented, including the Best Young Talent Award to PARK YounJae (South Korea), the Beaulieu Award to YASUUMI Shinnosuke (Japan), and the Contemporary Dance Award to WHEWAY HUGHES Jakob (United Kingdom).<\/p>\n<p>As part of the event, the Lifetime Achievement Award was also presented to <strong>Li Cunxin<\/strong>, the former Artistic Director of the Queensland Ballet. Born into extreme poverty in Mao&#8217;s China, Li was selected at a young age to train at the Beijing Dance Academy. Over seven years of rigorous training, he became one of the world&#8217;s finest dancers.<\/p>\n<p>After his illustrious dance career, Li transitioned into the world of finance, excelling as a senior manager at one of Australia&#8217;s largest stockbroking firms. Later, he returned to his first love, dance, becoming the Artistic Director of Queensland Ballet. Under his leadership, the company transformed from a small regional ballet troupe into a globally recognised institution.<\/p>\n<p>Li has been honoured with numerous prestigious awards. His autobiography, <em>Mao&#8217;s Last Dancer<\/em>, became an international bestseller and was adapted into a successful film. Li&#8217;s inspirational journey exemplifies the power of perseverance and the pursuit of excellence.<\/p>\n<p>The Prix de Lausanne continues to be a beacon of opportunity for young dancers worldwide, providing them with the chance to advance their careers and achieve their dreams.<\/p>\n<p><em>Finalists 2025. Der Wettbewerb, der im Beaulieu-Theater in Lausanne stattfand, sah 85 Kandidaten aus aller Welt, von denen 20 das Finale erreichten.<\/p>\n<p>Die Jury, unter dem Vorsitz von Laurent Hilaire, Direktor des Bayerischen Staatsballetts und \u00c9toile der Pariser Oper, w\u00e4hlte neun herausragende T\u00e4nzer aus, die Stipendien erhielten und somit die M\u00f6glichkeit haben, renommierte Partnerschulen oder -unternehmen zu besuchen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Preistr\u00e4ger 2025 sind:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li><strong>1. Li Cunxin wurde f\u00fcr seine herausragenden Beitr\u00e4ge zur Ballettwelt ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n<p>Li Cunxins Lebensgeschichte ist ein Beweis daf\u00fcr, dass man durch Disziplin und Durchhalteverm\u00f6gen Widrigkeiten \u00fcberwinden kann.<\/p>\n<p>Geboren in extremer Armut im China Maos, wurde Li in jungen Jahren ausgew\u00e4hlt, an der Beijing Dance Academy zu trainieren.
