He earned a place as a quadrille, or corps de ballet dancer, in the Concours externe, the annual competition for dancers who do not come from the company&#8217;s own academy. The charismatic Canadian trained in Toronto and at the Acad\u00e9mie Princesse Grace in Monte-Carlo. He has won numerous prizes, including the Prix de Lausanne 2018 and the Youth American Grand Prix 2014. Wagman was the youngest guest ever to appear in a leading role at the Mariinsky, as James in &#8220;La Sylphide&#8221;. He danced with the English National Ballet from 2019 to 2021, when Igor Zelensky brought him to Munich. He was promoted to soloist in the 2022\/23 season. Alexei Ratmansky choreographed a leading role for him in his &#8220;Tchaikovsky Overtures&#8221;, Wagman was also in numerous other creations.
