Die Palucca Hochschule f\u00fcr Tanz Dresden gibt bekannt, dass Prof. Katharina Christl zur neuen Rektorin der Hochschule ernannt wurde. Sie tritt die Nachfolge von Prof. Jason Beechey an und wird voraussichtlich im August 2024 offiziell vom S\u00e4chsischen Staatsminister f\u00fcr Wissenschaft, Kultur und Tourismus, Sebastian Gemkow, ernannt.\u00a0 Die Auswahl der neuen Rektorin erfolgte durch eine Kommission, die aus Vertreterinnen und Vertretern der Hochschule sowie externen Fachleuten aus den Bereichen Tanz, Kultur und Wissenschaft bestand.
\nProf. Katharina Christl, eine geb\u00fcrtige Dresdnerin und ehemalige Palucca-Sch\u00fclerin, ist bereits seit 2015 Professorin f\u00fcr Choreografie und leitet den Master-Studiengang Choreografie an der Palucca Hochschule f\u00fcr Tanz Dresden. Sie genie\u00dft internationalen Ruf im Bereich Tanz und Choreografie. Prof. Katharina Christl Appointed New Principal of Palucca University of Dance Dresden<\/strong><\/p>\n On June 24, 2024, Palucca University of Dance Dresden announced that Prof. Katharina Christl has been selected as the new principal of the institution. She will succeed Prof. Jason Beechey and is expected to be officially appointed by Sebastian Gemkow, the Saxon State Minister for Science, Culture, and Tourism, in August 2024.\u00a0The appointment of the new principal was made by a commission consisting of representatives from the university and external experts in the fields of dance, culture, and academia.<\/p>\n Prof. Katharina Christl, a native of Dresden and former Palucca student, has been a professor of choreography since 2015 and leads the Master\u2019s program in Choreography at Palucca University of Dance Dresden. She is internationally renowned in the field of dance and choreography.
