Together, 7 dancers \u2013 7 composers \u2013 unite to create 7 worlds\u00a0and offer you a message of hope, remembering that we are all connected, even\u00a0when we feel so alone. In these uncertain times we find ourselves in our art, in\u00a0our humanity, with our emotional life becoming more defined and more\u00a0realized \u2013 as the new truths that we learn become our future history.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All of the incredible people involved in this project have generously given their\u00a0time and talent for free, and we all hope that you will enjoy these portraits as\u00a0much as we did making them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Importantly these films aim to create awareness to help support our fellow\u00a0artists during these challenging times. I worked for the first time as an independent \u2013 free from the big\u00a0organisations that I am normally associated with \u2013 and arranged, produced and\u00a0directed everything myself. I was supported by an amazing but small team, 7\u00a0incredible dancers from Semperoper Ballett, and 7 very well known established\u00a0composers. All time and talent was donated to the project without cost \u2013 a\u00a0beautiful act of solidarity, trust and unity. I am very excited to share with you\u00a0that 7 PORTRAITS OF SOLITUDE will premiere online on September 17 2020.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Importantly I had always intended for this project to have a reason \u2013 to raise\u00a0more awareness for all freelancers who work in the arts. Our international arts\u00a0community involves so many people doing so many different jobs and the times\u00a0we are living in are becoming more challenging. So \u2013 I will be posting the\u00a0project on my social media pages (daviddawsonofficial on Instagram \/\u00a0Facebook) and on my website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.daviddawson.com\">www.daviddawson.com<\/a>) with the message for\u00a0people to donate to a few different fundraising organisations.
