DANCERS‘ CORNER: THE EARLY CHOICE OF A DANCER CAREER

After so many years into this dance world, I would realize just when I became a professional, how early we usually start our trajectory in a dance world. Have you ever asked yourself about it? I never did it before. In most cases, you come into a first ballet class when you are still just a kid as so many other sports. So, when I realized that, I started also thinking about how my entire process until now has been more years than I could ever imagine! We don’t actually usually see other professions, out of the sport branch, starting so early as you can see the athletes. You will not find a future doctor, for example, starting to practice for a career already when this person is just a kid, with all of my respect of course, but you can easily find the dancers getting started very young. But we have not always recognized all our efforts from the outside since the beginning of our career…
