Competitions and Scholarships The first Boston International Ballet Competition (BIBC), founded by Valentina Kozlova, former principal dancer with the Bolshoi and New York City Ballet, will be held May 12 to 16, 2011 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The Competition will provide invaluable opportunities to draw attention to special dancers from all parts of the world, to allow company directors to see dancers in stage performances rather than in class or at auditions, and to help young dancers further their careers; BIBC's goal is to open doors for dancers ages 13 to 25 from all over the world.
